This is a one-time userscript that provides only Google's server-side speech recognition as a polyfill, no further updates will be implemented. Use the (firefox-only) extension listed here for a better experience: https://github.com/apersongithub/Speech-Recognition-Polyfill

  • This userscript is the exact same speech recognition polyfill for voice search as on google.com and youtube.com. Remember to speak loud and clear.
  • The image below is the actual extension but it works practically the same minus the customization options.
  • Punctuation and grammar is only supported with Google Cloud Speech API v2. This uses v1.
