Nitro Type - Toolkit

A collection of quality-of-life utilities for Nitro Type, fully configurable through the Nitro Type - Mod Menu. All features can be toggled on or off individually.

Features

Garage

Garage Section Organizer — Add extra garage sections (pages of 30 car slots) with a custom modal directly from the garage page or from the mod menu.
Hide Buy Cash Button — Remove the Buy Cash button from the garage.

Profile

Car Profile Icon — Replace the default green profile icon in the navigation bar with your currently equipped car.
Readable Cash Amounts — Format large numbers with commas in the Send Cash modal for easier reading.
Donation Profile Link — Show a clickable link to the donor's profile in cash gift modals. Choose between username-only or full URL, with optional new-tab behavior.

Team

Banned/Warned Labels — Display ban and warn status badges on team member lists and the team header.
MOTD Offensive Filter — Pre-check Message of the Day text for potentially offensive words before saving. Add your own custom filter words.

Shop

Shop Leaks — Preview tomorrow's featured and daily shop items directly on the shop page, including animated car and trail previews.

Appearance

Hide Season Banner — Hide the seasonal event banner at the top of the page.
Hide Ads — Hide ad containers.
Hide Footer — Hide the page footer.
Hide Alternative Login Options — Hide third-party login options on the login and race pages.
Hide Cash Display — Hide your Nitro Cash balance across all pages. Choose from hidden, REDACTED, stars, or a custom message. Optionally hide Total Spent on the stats page as well.

Notifications

Disable All Notifications — Hide all notification badges on the navigation bar.
Individual Notification Toggles — Independently hide Shop, Friends, Team, News, and Achievements notification badges.
Smart Shop Notifications — Only show the Shop notification badge when there are unowned items in the current daily rotation.

Keyboard Shortcuts

Customizable Page Navigation — Quickly navigate to any page with modifier key combos. Supports single or dual modifier keys such as Alt+G or Option+Shift+R.
Per-Shortcut Modifiers — Each shortcut can have its own modifier combination.
Toggle Settings via Shortcut — Bind keyboard shortcuts to toggle supported mod settings on or off instantly.
Platform-Aware Labels — Displays the correct modifier key names for Mac (Option, Cmd) or Windows/ChromeOS (Alt, Win).

Configuration

All settings are managed through the Nitro Type - Mod Menu at /settings/mods. Navigate there from the settings dropdown or press the default shortcut Alt+M / Option+M.

Settings are organized into tabs: Garage, Profile, Team, Shop, Appearance, Notifications, and Keyboard Shortcuts.

All shortcuts are fully customizable. Shortcuts do not work on the live race page because Nitro Type locks keyboard input there.

Requirements

A userscript manager such as Tampermonkey or Violentmonkey
Recommended: Nitro Type - Mod Menu for unified settings management

Notes

The Garage Organizer will log you out after applying changes so they take effect. Simply log back in.
Shop Leaks uses Nitro Type's own shop rotation data and does not rely on external servers.
Settings persist through your userscript manager's storage, with shared page settings mirrored for in-browser sync.
