Twitter to VXTwitter URL Converter for Tampermonkey

The script automatically converts Twitter video links to vxtwitter.com links when you use the "Copy link" button on Twitter. VXTwitter is a tool that optimizes Twitter video embeds for desktop usage, especially on platforms like Discord, using the Twitter API or Youtube-DL to fetch video details.

How It Works

Simply use the "Copy link" button on any Twitter post. The script then converts this Twitter link into a vxtwitter.com link. For instance, https://twitter.com/jack/status/20 becomes https://vxtwitter.com/jack/status/20 when copied. This conversion enables you to leverage VXTwitter's enhanced video embedding features for desktop Discord.

Usage

  1. Install the script in Tampermonkey.
  2. Use Twitter's "Copy link" button to copy a tweet link.
  3. The script automatically converts this to a vxtwitter.com link, ready to be paste on Discord.
