Timerhooker (Modern UI)

Instantly switch all site timers and HTML5 video speed between normal and 16x with just one floating button.

Disclaimer: This tool was built with Perplexity AI. I'm not a coder and hence you can use if you want or skip it!
  • Works on all sites and devices, adapts to dark/light mode.
  • Drag and drop: Button is movable, always visible, and never lost.
  • Tap or click the button to toggle between 1x (play icon) and 16x (stop/square icon) speed for all timers and videos.
  • Auto half-hide: The button slides 50% off the nearest edge after 3s of UI inactivity, but never disappears.
  • Safe and private: No remote requests or data collection.
  • Bonus: Blocks most attempts by sites to detect page focus/visibility for smoother operation.
How to use:
  1. Install using a userscript manager (see below).
  2. Once the glassy button appears, click or tap it to toggle fast/normal speed.
  3. Drag the button wherever you want; it will stay there and lock to your screen.
  4. After 3 seconds idle, button slides halfway off the closest edge for minimal obstruction (just tap to restore).
