Speed up browser (chrome) by stopping background tabs from completely loading
This script may improve browser load speed at startup when there are too many browser tabs open.
Working Memory Set (RAM) of 28 Chrome Tabs (Several Youtube) at Startup
...Before: 3.83gb
...After: 2.46gb
= 35.74% decrease!
I also recommend using browser sleeping tabs / memory saver / tab suspension settings.
Alternatively, there are tab suspension extensions (e.g. Auto Tab Discard, The Great Discarder).
