This script adds an auto join checkbox after registering for an iRacing session. Once a green join button becomes available it will be automatically clicked if the checkbox is ticked.
With the release of the 2015 season 3 build the signup procedure on the iRacing.com member-site was changed. This had broken the original auto join functionality and with the introduction of the pre-session practice the need for a script like this was not as obvious any more. But over time I have given it some thought and decided to rewrite the script from scratch to support the new registration system with this brand new version 2.
You can now change your settings without being signed up for a session.
Enable or disable the default checkbox status. Do you want to join the pre-session practice or rather wait for the actual race to show up? The choice is yours.
You don't have to wait for the green button to show up any more. Go get a drink or visit the bathroom, the sim will be launched as soon as the green button appears.
Don't want to waste your time driving around in the pre-session practice? With the "Join pre-session practice" unchecked the script will wait for the actual session to become available before clicking the join button.
