Printables Bambu Studio Button

Adds a "Bambu Studio" button and replaces PrusaSlicer buttons on Printables.

Slice in Bambu Studio — Script Usage

What it does

  • Replaces “Slice” actions so they open Bambu Studio via bambustudio://open?file=....
  • Swaps the Prusa icon for a Bambu favicon.
  • Rewrites any prusaslicer:// / prusa:// deep links to bambustudio://.
  • Works on Printables 3MF files. It does not work on STL files due to Bambu Studio limitations.

How to use

  1. Install Tampermonkey (Chrome/Edge/Firefox) or Violentmonkey.
  2. Create a new userscript and paste the code you have (no header needed).
  3. Open a model’s Files tab on Printables.
  4. Click Slice → Bambu Studio should launch with the file preloaded.
  • Shift + Click on Slice copies the deep link to your clipboard.

Requirements

  • Bambu Studio installed and registered as the handler for bambustudio:// links.

Notes / Troubleshooting

  • If a page generates signed URLs only after pressing Download, click Download once, then try Slice again.
  • If the file is behind login-only cookies, download it and open from disk in Bambu Studio.
