I did these for fun and to share with other MeFites for personal use. If you like any of the scripts, please consider donating directly to MetaFilter.
If you run into an issue with any scripts I've posted, send MeFi mail or ask on the script page's Feedback section. I'll try to answer when I get a chance. If it turns out to be a fix that requires a lot of research/testing (I'm not a programmer), then it'll probably have to happen when I get extended free time (e.g. a holiday).

Can't install user scripts?
As of 2016-08-21, I've created user styles for most of these*, so you can use them with the Stylus extension. To download the user styles, visit https://userstyles.org/users/265526 (I plan to move these to the mefiscripts github).
Update 2024-09-08: Since Greasy Fork accepts styles now, if I ever get time I'll post the styles here.
* The comment hedgehog style is outdated and will likely be split into two styles (Modern and Classic/Plain theme compatible).
* The video fishy icon is not available as a style, because it requires jQuery.
