Yandex has updated the css of the website and replaced .serp-item with .SerpItem.
If you are not an advanced user, i recomand you the extension uBlacklist.

OK so update soon? Your script is good as I'm looking to only block few sites from results. Though simple GUI to add/update/edit blocked list would be nice.
I appreciate this is small script.
I only tested this with Image Search Results - and this doesn't work in Yandex.com Image Search. As Yandex isn't often supported I didn't test other Image Search results (Google, Bing, etc) as no point when Yandex not working.
