This Script brings back the Google Navigation Bar with customizable options, and removes the App Grid navigation entirely. You can change the links on the bar, the colors of the bar, the background image of the bar, and if the bar is always visible, or not. Check for updates regularly for bug fixes, and new features!

Get the good old black bar back on google. Now customizable! choose which services to appear on top and which to appear in the more menu. You can also add custom links in the list.

As this script hasn't been updated in a very long time (ever since I brought it back from the dead from userscripts.org, I've been doing mostly visual improvements as needed), it's best you install this script with Tampermonkey on your browser and not Greasemonkey.
Tampermonkey has better support for older script, and those should continue working normally with it. Read more about the issue here.
