Ever been on a page that's unreadable because it's so wide that it fills the whole screen? This script provides a shortcut to make it narrow and more readable, increasing the font if you want it to.

Shortcuts

The shortcuts are easily configurable in the script, with documented options. By default:

Once the initial shortcut has been pressed, the following changes can be made:

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + Up Arrow to increase the font size.
  • Press Ctrl + Shift + Down Arrow to decrease the font size.

on macOS:

  • Press Alt + Shift + Right Arrow to make the page wider.
  • Press Alt + Shift + Left Arrow to make the page narrower.
