Thank you for this feedback! You are absolutely right; accessibility is important, and forcing italics can be hard to read.
I have just released Version 8.0, which adds a Settings Menu specifically for you.
- Update the script.
- You will see a small "Gear" (⚙️) icon next to the pencil.
- Click it, and under "Narration Style," select "Plain Text (none)".
This will remove all asterisks and give you clean, readable text. Enjoy!

One possible feedback from me - could you also create a style like this:
**"This is dialogue."** *This is everything else.*
I found that DeepSeek loves to use the * characters and when I make it use this style, it breaks a lot less often. It's rare but some creators use this style of writing.
I'd love to see a version of this that can be customized to format how the user wants. For example, being able to change italics to plain text. I personally struggle with reading large blocks of italics due to vision issues, and the model I use also loves to make dialogue bolded at random.
